Catriona is as a playwright and theatre maker. Her work has been performed at venues including: Hampstead Theatre, The North Wall, Southwark Playhouse, Tristan Bates and the National Theatre Temp Space. Her first commission came from Paines Plough and the Oxford PlayhouseCome to where I come from. She has been a member of the Royal Court, National Theatre Studio, HighTide Theatre, Sheffield Theatres Writers Program and is currently one of the Sphinx writers. She has also co-written Mirror Me a play for 4-8 year olds with Louise Gooding, performed at Pleasance Edinburgh, Greenwich Theatre and The Royal Theatre Barking.
Catriona is the co-founder and writer for Bad Host Theatre who have taken work to venues such as the Bush, Shambala and BAC. Catriona also worked with In Transit, on their project: They Call Me Nina performed in Lima Peru at Teatro Britannic. She has also worked as a Dramaturg for Claire Thill’s project Two pigeons perching on a bench supported by TalentLab at Les Théâtres de la Ville, Luxembourg and continues to support the development of other artists. She has worked on a children’s show in Beijing and is currently working with Lanterna Vision. Additionally she’s been awarded the Peggy Ramsay Foundation to write her new play Miss-able. She also works as a german translator.
