Pegasus Performance Lab (11 – 15 / 16 – 25):
Pegasus Performance Lab provides unique opportunities for young artists to connect with professional companies to develop skills in theatre-making, performance & production. This project runs during half-term holidays throughout the year.
The very first Performance Lab launched this May with dynamic theatre-makers the Conker Group, led by Tara Robinson. Here’s what our young artists had to say about the experience:
- Kirsty: “Really enjoyed the method and process like nothing I’ve done before. It’s opened my eyes to ways of working and possibilities. It’s been amazing to be surrounded by like-minded people and people who do this for a living. I feel very inspired and comforted in myself.”
- Honor: “Loved working with EVERYONE in the company – all lovely people who made me feel accepted and didn’t ignore but valued my ideas and employed them”
- Nicole: “I have had lots of fun this week, meeting everyone and working with Pegasus theatre. I hope to do more with the company in the future.”
Our next Performance Lab will be this October with Watkins Dance Company – get in touch to be the first to hear about this exciting project!
