Alison Vickers

Bio

I joined the Board of Pegasus as a trustee in January 2013 and sit on the Finance and Resources committee as well as providing 1-1 support to the joint CEOs.

I started my career in media and campaigns over 25 years ago – working for a variety of NGOs in the field of human rights – latterly as Head of Media for both Amnesty International and Oxfam. For the last 15 years I have been working as a coach and consultant for a wide variety of clients across all sectors – and spent six of these living and working in China and Thailand.

In all my work I have a strong drive to make changes for the better – whether in my roles in NGOS, or my work now with teams and individuals focusing on their development. My work has often been as an enabler – giving a voice to those who find it hard to have one, and helping people realise they can do more than they ever thought possible. For this reason I love the work and ethos of Pegasus and feel privileged to play a part in supporting its work with young people.
