Travelling Light’s new show, Sammy and the Snow Leopard, is about a 9-year-old boy named Sammy who loves animals. The only problem is, Sammy’s mum won’t allow a pet in the house, she says they are too expensive and their house is too small. But then Sammy’s best friend tells him about an advert he saw on TV: Adopt a snow leopard.
This is an amazingly interactive piece, written and acted by Brad McCormick. I mainly think this show is aimed at 6-8 year olds, but it is still enjoyable if you are older than that. This show is funny and dramatic. It also highly achieves the goal to entertain kids.
Overall I think this is a great show to watch, it is worth paying for. All of the props were also very entertaining, with animals on them, and they were very colorful to keep the audience interested. The only down side is that there were no costumes, so you can’t see what the characters look like and it is sometimes hard to tell who is who. I would recommend his show for people who enjoy funny things.
