Young Companies

Pegasus Young Companies are at the heart of our activity and integral to the creative and artistic process at Pegasus. Each year the Young Companies work towards a full-scale production, performed at Pegasus Theatre.ย

Producing quality theatre

The Young Companies are designed for young people who would like to pursue acting, enjoy devising work or enjoy the artistic process of putting on a professional performance. They are a way to gain access to performance opportunities andย to develop acting skills and techniques in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

We don’tย holdย auditions; we welcome anyone with the commitment, enthusiasm and passion to be part of a Pegasus Young Company.

We also run the Technical Young Company,ย for budding stage technicians and designers aged 14-18.

If the fees are a stretch too far you can pay in installments before the start of each year.ย

There are a limited number of freeย supportedย places available.ย Please emailย participation@pegasustheatre.org.ukย for more details on these.

There are three groups: the Young Companyย 11-15,ย Young Company 16-25 and the Technical Young Company 14-18. Intake for the 11-15 group is every September, the 16-25 group and technical group every January.
