For young people looking for an opportunity to get involved with an in-depth production experience we run two resident young companies for 11-15 and 16-25 year olds.
Young Company 16-25
28 & 29 March 2018
Young Company 11-15
20 & 21 July 2018
No auditions are needed to join our young companies, just the commitment and a passion to create a high-quality performance on the Pullman Stage supported by professional artists.
Join us for a year of creative work inspired by the Pegasus Youth Board’s theme for the year: Carnival of resistance: Art in times of unrest. Shape your own future through innovative theatre-making. We will examine the world of change we are living in and draw inspiration from uprisings of the past; student riots in Paris, the suffragette movement, conscientious objectors, the London riots and Arab spring. Together we will learn new skills, refine old ones and create a performance that asks “what would you take to the streets for?”
“Art is not a mirror held up to reality but a hammer with which to shape it.”
The future is yours, let’s start building it.
Young Companies next intake September 2018
Both young companies are a year long commitment
Cost for the year: £360/£270 – places can be paid for in instalments prior to the start of the year.
