Making It Up! An Introduction to Musical Improvisation

With no experience necessary and all ability levels welcome, Alex will guide you through the basics of improvising melody, rhymes and song structure. Alex (he/him) is a London-based musical comic, improviser and comedy director. He was the Clap Back To Reality Winner in 2024 and a Musical Comedy Awards Finalist in 2025.
He co-founded and performs with The Bean Spillers, an improvised comedy musical all about gossip, with guest performers from The Goes Wrong Show, Showstopper and Austentatious. He has also facilitated for the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain.
