Pegasus Young Technical Company is a programme for budding stage technicians and designers aged 14-18.
Run by Dan Parry, a highly experienced Technical Professional, this flagship course provides and introduction to professional roles within the backstage industry. Young people who take part will have the opportunity to learn technical and design skills with an integrated stage and production management focus, developing their ability to work as part of the team behind the curtain.
The courses explores the following key disciplines:
- Lighting Design, Equipment and Operation
- Sound Design, Recording and Operation
- Set, Props and Costume Design
- Stage Management
Using the skills that they have learnt on the course, participants take on the roles of designers, stage managers and technicians on the PYC 11-15 and 16-25 productions.

No session on May 28 due to half term.
Technical company members will also be required on the following dates to work on the PYC 16-25 and PYC 11-15 productions:
Sunday, 17 May, 12pm-6pm
Saturday, 6 June 12pm-6pm.
Sunday 7 June 2026 – Past, Present, Future Festival at Schwarzman Centre, Oxford (timings tbc)
Saturday 20 June, 12-6pm.
