But rumours are adrift, protestors are gathering, and fortunes are turning. What’s more, the future is getting restless…
In an exploration of legacies and archives, dreams and realities, Pegasus Young Company present this original, thrilling, time-turning tale.
Future Perfect is the result of a year-long collaboration between 16-25 Pegasus Young Company and Dr. Jessica Goodman. Inspired and guided by Dr. Jessica Goodman’s research on imagined futures in 17th and 18th century French literature, 16-25 Pegasus Young Company has taken these radical ideas as the starting point from which to devise a vibrant, contemporary performance that asks urgent questions about the here and now. Additionally, the partnership has explored the role creative arts and literature might play in making sense of the world, and what impact imagining the future could have on young people’s capacity to control or change personal or societal circumstances.
