Trustee Recruitment 

As a result of a number of board members nearing the end of their term of office, we are currently seeking to appoint new board members to work with the rest of the Board and the theatre’s Senior Management Team to deliver our vision. We require people who share our passion for inspiring creativity in young people and who can bring the skills, knowledge, diversity of background and experience that will complement that of existing board members.

We are looking to select and appoint from our September board meeting onward. Applications submitted will be assessed and invited for an informal interview discussion with members of the board and staff team.

Participation Coordinator Job Vacancy 

The Participation Coordinator is a key position reporting to the Creative Learning Director. The postholder is responsible for the coordination of our creative learning opportunities and supporting the engagement of young people with our programme of activity. The role supports the development, implementation and monitoring of Pegasus’s business planning in order to achieve our artistic ambitions and business objectives.

Key Objectives:

  • Coordinate the delivery of high-quality creative learning opportunities and maximise engagement with our diverse programme by our young participants.
  • Provide individual assistance and guidance for young participants and their families who require additional support in order to sustain engagement with us.
  • Identify and recruit new participants; actively building networks and partnerships that access potential areas for development.
  • Champion the voice and activity of young participants promoting their achievements and encouraging their involvement with Pegasus as change-makers.

Salary: £20,500 – £22,500 pa (starting salary dependant on experience)

Work Experience Weeks 

Work Experience Weeks at Pegasus are an opportunity to gain an insight into the various roles required to run a theatre venue.

Each student will gain a high quality experience throughout the week and will contribute to the work in our theatre.  You will spend time working on projects across marketing, HR, finance, fundraising, creative learning and front of house.  We expect all our applicants to be flexible, adaptable, have initiative and a real passion for careers in a theatre.

Pegasus Courses


Spring Courses start week commencing 13 January 2020.

Information is available on the What’s On page. Places can be booked online or by calling the Box Office – 01865 812150, Monday to Friday 10am-6pm, Saturday 10am-2pm – or by popping in.
