Executive Administrative Assistant Job Opportunity

The Executive Administrative Assistant is a key position reporting to the Executive Director, responsible for supporting the work of the executive team by providing exceptional administrative and organisational assistance and playing a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth flow of communication across the organisation.  The role supports the development, implementation and monitoring of Pegasus’s business planning to achieve our artistic ambitions and business objectives.

Key Objectives:

  • Provide exceptional administrative support for the Board and Executive team and facilitate the delivery of Pegasus’s artistic programme and business objectives.
  • Provide the necessary facilities and working environment to support the delivery of activity by the staff team.
  • Maintain knowledge and communicate information effectively and appropriately within the organisation and externally.
  • Champion the voice and activity of our work with children and young people, raising the profile of Pegasus locally regionally and nationally.

Salary:  £20,000-£22,000 pa pro rata (starting salary dependant on experience)

Front Of House Manager Job Opportunity 

Job Purpose:

The Front of House Manager is responsible across all elements of our front of house operation for the welcome, service, and safety of all people using, visiting and working at Pegasus. The role leads the front of house team, managing four Duty Managers who work on a shift system over six days of operation to cover: ticket sales and reception, café bar preparation and service, house management of shows and activity and day to day building and facilities operation. This wide-ranging role supports the development, implementation and monitoring of Pegasus’s audience development and financial strategies to achieve our business objectives and artistic ambitions.

Key Objectives:

  • Ensure the provision of friendly, informed access to our entire front of house services; ticket sales, café, performance, creative learning activities, general enquiries and facilities.
  • Increase the frequency and levels of attendance of current audiences, users and partners by providing exceptional facilities and services that are responsive to need, demonstrating our value and engaging customer loyalty.
  • Maximising the potential of front of house to contribute to the ongoing sustainable success of the organisation.
  • Actively promote the activity and achievements of Pegasus, championing our programme within the local community, wider city, regionally and nationally.

Salary: £22,220 – £23,500 pa (starting salary dependent on experience)

Duty Manager Job Opportunity

Work Experience Weeks 

Work Experience Weeks at Pegasus are an opportunity to gain an insight into the various roles required to run a theatre venue.

Each student will gain a high quality experience throughout the week and will contribute to the work in our theatre.  You will spend time working on projects across marketing, HR, finance, fundraising, creative learning and front of house.  We expect all our applicants to be flexible, adaptable, have initiative and a real passion for careers in a theatre.
