    Does your child have an incredible imagination? Take the opportunity and see where it leads them in our exciting weekly drama classes. Your child will have a wonderful time learning performance and storytelling skills in a supportive, creative environment. See their confidence grow as they find out what it’s like to be part of a theatre and watch them take to the stage at the end of term performance for friends and family. 

    Drama 8-11: Tuesdays 5.30pm – 7.00pm

    The courses will run on Tuesdays, from 16 April 2024 to 02 July 2024. There will be no session on 28 May during half term.

    Master some fresh moves and get into the exciting world of Hip Hop with critically acclaimed dance company Body Politic.

    For all the young theatre makers out there! This is an year-long opportunity to devise a production with us and to perform a professional-quality play at Pegasus. No auditions are required - enthusiasm for theatre is all you need to find your place with us.
    Sessions will run weekly on Wednesdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm.

      • Spring Term 2024 - Weekly sessions will run on Wednesdays from 10th January 2024 to 27th March 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
      • Summer Term 2024 - Weekly sessions will run on Wednesdays from 17th April 2024 to 3rd July 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
      • Autumn Term 2024 - Weekly sessions will run on Wednesdays from 11th September 2024 to 27th November 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm

    Pegasus Technical Young Company is a programme for budding stage technicians and designers aged 14-18.

    The skills you’ll develop during your time with us will introduce you to a variety of professional roles within the backstage industry. This experience offers a combination of studying technical and design skills with an integrated stage and production management focus, developing your ability to work as part of the team behind the curtain.

    You will be introduced to key technical elements of theatre production, while also providing wider theatrical context. We explore the following key disciplines:

    •     Lighting Design, Equipment and Operation

    •     Sound Design, recording and operation

    •     Set, Props and Costume Design

    •     Stage Management

    As you move on, you’ll focus more on the design process, while also working on live project briefs. By using and developing your skills learnt in Term 1, you will work as designers, stage managers and technicians on the PYC 11-15 and 16-25 productions to bring the magic of theatre to life.

    Sessions will run weekly on Thursdays from 6:45 - 8:15pm. No previous experience necessary.

    Term dates 2024:

    • Spring Term: 6:45pm - 8:15pm | Thursday 11th January - Thursday 28th March | No session on 15th February during half term
    • Summer Term:5:30pm - 7:00pm | Thursday 18th April 2024 - Thursday 4th July | No Session on 29th May during half term | Additional session on Saturday 15th June (1:00pm - 6:00pm)

    Recommended for ages 16+. Sensitive topics of homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism and sexual trauma may be discussed. Trigger warnings will be provided before each piece

    With a magical mix of music played live by our DJ, the funkiest lighting, and bubbles and games galore, you’ll see why these sessions have been entertaining Oxford for over 9 years. Put on your dancing shoes, bring your little ones, and prepare to have the best disco ever! 

    Join us for a 45-mins fun and creative family workshop before the Disco, led and facilitated by our Dance artists & DJ team!

    Disco sessions start at 11:30am and 2:30pm. If you are attending the workshop arrive an hour earlier at 10:30am or 1:30pm
