I have been tutor for Catalyst, a group for adults with a wide variety of physical and learning disabilities since 2014. I really enjoy working with this group, which has taken place at Pegasus in one form or another for over 20 years.
I initially trained as an actor at Manchester Metropolitan University and worked at venues around the Manchester area including the Contact Theatre. In 1995 I gained a PGCE in Drama Education from Goldsmiths University. I taught drama in inner city Secondary Schools for eight Years. In 2005 I re qualified as a Drama and Movement therapist (Sesame) on the MA course at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
After graduating I worked in education for Slough Behaviour Support Service, running sessions for referred students. I co facilitated sessions in the drug rehabilitation unit at HMS Prison Holloway and also facilitated individual Drama and Movement therapy sessions in schools for students with both moderate and profound learning difficulties. I continue to work freelance as a Drama and Movement therapist around Oxfordshire.
I moved from London to East Oxford in October 2008 and have two boys who are at a school locally.
