I joined Pegasus in April 2016 after 10 years as Development Manager at Oxford Playhouse. As Development Director, I’m responsible for fundraising which makes a vital contribution to ensuring that we can continue to do all the great things we do at Pegasus.
After reading Geography at the University of Manchester, I had various roles in marketing, administration and events management spanning the arts, publishing, music and fashion, including two fascinating years living in Tokyo. My first theatre job was at the Arts Centre, University of Warwick doing marketing and press. I moved in to fundraising at the South Bank Centre, working on the capital campaign to refurbish the Royal Festival Hall and the RFH’s 50th Birthday celebrations. I then moved to Oxford where I was Development Director at Merton College for four years before returning to the arts at Oxford Playhouse.
I love working in a creative environment and playing a part in making exciting things happen. As a long-term East Oxford resident, I have known Pegasus for many years with my daughter (still) taking part in a variety of courses and projects here. I’ve also been a Governor at East Oxford Primary School and a Trustee of Cowley Road Carnival.
