For all the young theatre makers out there, this is an opportunity to create and rehearse a production with us, and to perform a professional-quality play at Pegasus, working with local director Emma Webb. Pegasus Young Musical Company 11-18 is our exciting, new young company for musical theatre performers aged 11-18 (Years 7-13), starting in September 2025.Led by theatre and dance professionals, weekly sessions across two terms will develop participants’ singing, dancing, and acting techniques and skills, building towards an ensemble showcase of musical theatre pieces in March 2026.There are no auditions, and all levels of skill and experience are welcome.
Term Dates 2025/26
Thursdays 11 September –27 November 2025 (no session on 30 October due to half term)
6:30 -8:00pm.
Thursdays 8 January –19 March 2026 (no session 14 February due to half term)
6:30 -8:00pm.
Additionally, there will be two Saturday rehearsals from 12:00 – 6:00pm in the Spring 2026 term on 7 February and 21 March.
Final production week will be w/c 23 March 2026. Participants will be required in the evening for technical and dress rehearsals on Wednesday 25 March and Thursday 26 March.
Public performances at Pegasus will take place on Friday 27 March and Saturday 28 March 2026 at 7:00pm. Please note that Saturday 28 March is the first day of the Easter school holidays.

Pegasus Technical Young Company is a programme for budding stage technicians and designers aged 14-18. The skills you’ll develop during your time with us will introduce you to a variety of professional roles within the backstage industry. This experience offers a combination of studying technical and design skills with an integrated stage and production management focus, developing your ability to work as part of the team behind the curtain.We explore the following key disciplines: Lighting Design, Equipment and Operation Sound Design, Recording and Operation Set, Props and Costume Design Stage Management By using and developing these skills, you will work as designers, stage managers and technicians on the 11-15 and 16-25 Young Company productions to bring the magic of theatre to life.
