I have worked in Front of House since I was 16, over 10 years ago! I studied drama at the University of Wales and have always been into plays and theatre from an early age. I have been part of the North Oxford Youth Theatre for most of my life, originally as an actor and now as resident director and producer! Whilst at University I used to have a rather hectic schedule: during the holidays I would set up a production and get the ‘ball rolling’ so the actors could rehearse while I was away at University, and then at the end of term I would get back just in time to help them get the production polished off ready for the performance!
After graduation, I moved back to Oxford and worked at the Playhouse (where I have had various roles over the years). I joined Pegasus in September 2010 and love every minute of it – working Front of House and alongside young people. I also enjoy getting more involved in the technical side of things and am learning new ways of incorporating this into my own productions.
And, you won’t find it hard to spot me in a crowd as I’m the one wearing the 70s style funky and flamboyant shirts – as my colleagues will tell you, I have a style that is truly all my own!
